Common man is the first to reach any site of disaster. So if this common man is trained in Disaster Management and woven into the network of Arogya Sena, country like ours can develop a powerful network of disaster management, with minimum financial resources. But to work effectively this team needs vehicles, tents, medicines, stretchers, surgical equipment, search and rescue equipment, communication network, generators, security uniforms etc. Arogya Sena wishes to raise a corpus of one crore to meet these requirements.

Well wishers can draw their cheques / drafts of donations in favour of 'S. M. Joshi Memorial Medical Association'. Donations are exempt from Income Tax under 80-G.

Concept of Arogya Sena can become a model to meet challenges of disasters for all third world countries. Arogya Sena is thus willing to conduct its unique training in 'Disaster Management and Medical Relief Work' for developing countries.
